Morning all!!
This last week was all about the bisque firing and preparing my pieces to be loaded into the kiln. At the being of the week (after morning walks with Poppie dog), I spent my days sanding and smoothing all my dry clay bits ready to load into my kiln. Me and my studio were completely covered in dust after all the sanding. Now my pieces are bisque fired, I can use the coming days to start illustrating each piece. I fitted in a little bit of Portuguese homework throughout the week, before my Thursday lesson, which went well. Using the end of my days to pop to the gym for a natter and some exercise. Last sunny Sunday we took a road trip to Oporto for the day. Stopping at my most favourite department store to have a wonder, and look at next seasons clothes etc…. what to buy next!! Next stop Ikea, to stock up on washing gloves, and obviously a few more things. Oh! lunch was great, especially the salted caramel cheesecake.
